The lessons we provide

Lessons booked through spmbiology.com.my are one-to-one and delivered online. Each lesson is booked per hour, with your child’s teacher, chosen for their form and target grade. The rate is confirmed on WhatsApp before a lesson is booked, because it varies by teacher experience.

The trial

Every new student starts with a paid one-hour trial, charged at the teacher’s rate. It is a real lesson, not a promotional offer, and it is booked the same way as any other lesson: message us on WhatsApp, confirm the rate, and pick a time.

Payment

Payment is made as agreed on WhatsApp, before or at the lesson, depending on what is arranged between you and us at the time of booking. We confirm the amount and the arrangement before the lesson is scheduled, so there is no ambiguity when the lesson starts.

Rescheduling

We understand that plans change. If a lesson needs to be rescheduled, tell us on WhatsApp with reasonable notice so we can adjust the teacher’s schedule. Repeated late changes with little notice may affect a teacher’s ability to keep a regular slot open for a student.

Conduct

Lessons are a professional teaching relationship. We expect students and parents to treat teachers with the same respect a teacher extends to them, and we expect lessons to be used for their intended purpose, learning Biology.

Intellectual property

The content published on spmbiology.com.my, the syllabus explanations, past-year analysis, and other written material, belongs to us. You may read and refer to it for personal study; you may not republish or resell it.

What lessons do and do not do

Lessons are teaching, and results depend on the student’s work. A teacher can explain a topic clearly, correct misunderstandings, and give the student focused practice; what the student does with that teaching, attending consistently, reviewing between lessons, doing the exam papers, shapes the outcome.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version published on this page at the time you book a lesson is the version that applies.
