SPM 2026 Biology: The Last 100 Days Plan
Count 100 days back from the Paper 3 date of Wednesday 18 November 2026 (four sessions) and the written papers on 2 December 2026 (Papers 1 and 2; Paper 3 practical on 18 November 2026), then split them into four phases: 30 days for Form 4 clusters, 30 for Form 5 clusters, 25 for paper practice and 15 for the run-in. Each phase has a chapter cluster, a paper and a single measurable target.

Why count in days rather than weeks?
A 100-day plan is a different tool from a weekly timetable. Weeks are for scheduling; days are for priority.
When the countdown shows a number in double digits, every day has to justify itself against a simple question: which paper and which chapter cluster gains the most marks from today's hours? The plan below answers that question for each range of days between now and the two exam dates, Paper 3 on Wednesday 18 November 2026 (four sessions) and Papers 1 and 2 on 2 December 2026 (Papers 1 and 2; Paper 3 practical on 18 November 2026).
The syllabus is 28 chapters across two years, and the exam draws on all of them. Splitting the chapters into six thematic clusters, and assigning each cluster a fixed day range, means no chapter is left to chance and no chapter swallows the whole month.

Days 100 to 71: Form 4 clusters with Paper 1 drills
The first thirty days belong to Form 4. These chapters were learnt a year ago and are the ones most often blamed for careless marks in the final exam, because students assume they still remember them.
Three clusters, ten days each, with a Paper 1 drill at the end of every cluster to confirm the recall is real. Paper 1 is 40 objective questions in 1 hour 15 minutes, and every wrong answer in the drill is traced to its chapter and reread the same evening.

Days 70 to 41: Form 5 clusters with Paper 3 built in
The second thirty days cover Form 5, and this is where Paper 3 practice begins in earnest. The practical paper is a practical test (Ujian Amali) with 5 minutes planning followed by 40 minutes answering; from day 70 onwards, one Paper 3 practice set is completed every five days under exactly that timing.
Form 5 chapters supply most of the contexts a practical question uses, so studying the chapter and practising the experiment in the same week reinforces both.

Days 40 to 16: the paper-practice phase
With every cluster revised once, the middle phase switches to full papers. The targets are fixed by marks.
Paper 2 is worth 100 marks over 2 hours 30 minutes: Section A carries 60 marks across 8 questions (answer all), Section B carries 20 marks with 2 questions (answer 1), and Section C carries 20 marks where the candidate must answer 1 question. Section A is the largest block of marks in the whole subject, so it gets the most sittings in this phase.
Every practice paper is marked against a scheme, and the review is written into a single error log with three columns: the question, the mark lost, and the reason in one sentence. By day 16 that log is the student's personal revision list, and it is far shorter and more useful than any set of notes.
- Days 40–33: two full Section A sets, one Section B essay, one Section C essay, one Paper 3 set
- Days 32–25: a full Paper 2 in one sitting, a full Paper 1 the next morning, one Paper 3 set
- Days 24–16: a complete mock of all three papers over two days, then three days on the error log before the next mock
Days 15 to 1: the run-in through two exam dates
The final fifteen days are split by the timetable itself. Paper 3 arrives first, on Wednesday 18 November 2026 (four sessions), so the days leading up to it are practical days: the planning checklist, variable statements in the standard sentence form, results tables with units in the headings, and graphs with labelled axes.
Written-paper work drops to a short daily flashcard session so that content stays warm.
After Paper 3, the gap to 2 December 2026 (Papers 1 and 2; Paper 3 practical on 18 November 2026) is used for the written papers alone. The error log is reread, each logged mistake is retested with a fresh question, and the diagrams that carry Section A marks are redrawn from memory and checked against the textbook version.
The last two days step down to essay plans, one Paper 1 set at the same time of morning as the real paper, and sleep.
How do the phases rank if time runs short?
Not every student reads this on day 100. If the countdown already shows a smaller number, the phases are trimmed from the front, never from the back.
The paper-practice phase and the run-in stay intact because they are where marks are gained; the chapter clusters are compressed by revising from summary notes and diagrams instead of the textbook. Our post on revising when you are behind shows how to do that compression cluster by cluster.
The one thing that stays at full length whatever the number is Paper 3 practice. It is the earliest paper, it rewards a fixed routine, and a candidate who has completed ten timed sets by mid-November walks into the practical with the format already automatic.
- Under 80 days: merge the two Form 4 physiology clusters into one ten-day block
- Under 60 days: revise Form 4 clusters from notes only; keep all Form 5 clusters and every Paper 3 set
- Under 40 days: go straight to the paper-practice phase and use the error log to decide which chapters get rereads
Where do one-to-one lessons sit in the 100 days?
A weekly online lesson with one of our experienced Biology teachers is the checkpoint at the end of each ten-day cluster and each practice paper. The teacher marks the set before the lesson, then the lesson is spent on the two or three answers that lost the most marks, with the student rewriting them live.
Lessons are one-to-one, in English, and the teacher adjusts the cluster order to the student's own error log. Rates start from RM50 per hour depending on the teacher's experience, and the first hour is a paid trial lesson at that rate, arranged on WhatsApp.
